Multivitamin One from Seeking Health
Seeking Health Multivitamin One is a multivitamin that provides a wide variety of nutrients in highly absorbable or active forms. Unlike other Seeking Health multivitamins, this formula contains all of the daily essential vitamins, minerals, trace elements and other nutrients in just one capsule. This means that you only need to take this dietary supplement once a day. Seeking Health Multivitamin One contains, among other things, bioactive methylated B vitamins, including methylcobalamin and methylfolate.
One Daily formula for every day
Seeking Health Multivitamin One contains vitamins A, B6 and D, selenium and zinc to support the immune system, B vitamins, iodine and manganese to promote energy metabolism and vitamin D to support bones, teeth and muscles. In addition, B vitamins contribute to a clear mind and support the nervous system. The added substance lutein supports the condition of the eye* 3 and may have an antioxidant effect in the body* 3 .
LifePQQ ™ is a unique antioxidant and SOD (Superoxide Dismutase) is an enzyme found in all living cells. The minerals and trace elements in this multivitamin are easily absorbable forms. The formula also contains vitamin B12 in its 'coenzyme forms' methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin, also known as the active forms of vitamin B12.
Evolution of epigenetics
Epigenetics is a science that has changed and evolved considerably in recent years. We are increasingly realizing that DNA or our genetic predisposition does not pull all the strings, but that it is the 'epigenomes' that actually control the DNA by switching certain genes 'on' or 'off'. We can therefore map our entire DNA, but that is not the end of it. After all, our DNA is comparable to a computer, whereby it is up to the software (the epigenomes) how the computer is used. The most important epigenetic processes in our body are the methylation processes, and in particular DNA methylation. A lot of research is currently being done into the influence of nutrition and lifestyle on our epigenomes and to what extent this influence can also be passed on to future generations. The science of epigenetics therefore studies the changes in gene expression, which do not, however, cause changes in the DNA sequence itself.

The process of methylation
The methylation process is one of the most important and imaginative biochemical processes in our body. There is currently a lot of research into it and various studies indicate that there is probably a connection between the ability to methylate and health. The methylation process takes place trillions of times every minute in all cells of our body and has an influence on energy production, DNA regeneration, hormone production and repair and recovery activities. In fact, methylation is a controlled transfer of a methyl group to mainly proteins, amino acids, enzymes and DNA. Substances that are able to donate a methyl group are called methyl donors, such as B vitamins, vitamin C, biotin, zinc, folic acid and betaine. Methyl groups facilitate the on and off switches of our DNA and therefore play an important role in the gene expression of our DNA. They are therefore one of the most researched molecules in epigenetics.
Epigenetics & Seeking Health
The term epigenetics was coined in 1942 by biologist Conrad Waddington to describe the phenomenon that genes can be switched on or off under the influence of environmental factors. In epigenetic modifications, the function of a gene changes without its code changing, like when a piece of music is played by different musicians; they are the same notes, but they sound different. In this way, two people who are genetically identical can still be very different epigenetically. This is the basis for the health program of Dr. Ben Lynch of Seeking Health. By tracing the markings around the DNA that can switch genes on or off and influencing this with the help of nutrition, supplements and lifestyle adjustments, Lynch states that we can, as it were, 'clean up our dirty genes' and influence our gene expression.
About Seeking Health
From a young age, Dr. Ben Lynch, founder of Seeking Health, has been interested in the relationship between health and gene expression and has studied natural medicine, molecular biology and epigenetics. In his recent book Dirty Genes he describes how the cause of countless health problems can lie in having 'dirty' genes and he shows how you can optimize the functioning of your genes through the right diet and lifestyle. In recent years he has helped thousands of clients, doctors and healthcare professionals to use these insights and he is currently the most consulted expert in the field of epigenetics.

Take 1 capsule daily with breakfast or lunch, or use as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Capsules may be opened and nutrients taken separately or sprinkled into food or drink. Do not take within 5 hours of bedtime as this may disrupt sleep.
