Targeted Formula Packed with Nutrients
Discover Bile Nutrients by Seeking Health, an effective formula with nutrients and herbs specifically designed to support the gallbladder and liver. Proper bile production is essential for healthy digestion. Bile plays a vital role in nutrient absorption in the gastrointestinal tract. It also helps cleanse the liver by removing toxic substances. Since the gallbladder and liver work together in bile production, it is important to support the liver when aiming to optimize gallbladder function, lipid metabolism, and fat absorption. This unique formula by Seeking Health includes ingredients like choline, taurine, and milk thistle, which support the liver’s cleansing function*1. Choline also contributes to normal lipid metabolism*1. Added taurine, milk thistle, and ginger have antioxidant functions*3, while herbs such as artichoke and ginger support digestion*2.

What is the Function of Bile?
The liver continuously produces bile from cholesterol, which is then combined with taurine and glycine and stored in the gallbladder. Bile has several important functions. One is lubricating the small intestine to ease bowel movements. Maintaining this balance is important—too much bile may cause diarrhea, while too little may lead to constipation, increasing toxic load in the body. Bile also transports toxins from the liver to the intestines, ensuring continuous detoxification. Another key role of bile is providing glycine and taurine, the building blocks for bile salts, which are essential for breaking down dietary fats. Fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K can only be properly absorbed in the small intestine if sufficient bile is present. Bile thus plays a critical role in waste removal, digestion, and nutrient absorption—especially for essential fats and fat-soluble vitamins.
Epigenetics & Seeking Health
Epigenetics refers to the countless factors that influence our gene expression. The term was coined in 1942 by biologist Conrad Waddington and literally means “around the DNA,” referring to markers around the DNA that can switch genes on and off. The idea is that an organism’s experiences, environment, and diet greatly influence genetic predisposition. For Dr. Ben Lynch, epigenetics represents the power of our genes and the belief that we’re not subject to our DNA, but can work with it—once we know how. Lynch’s method is aimed at identifying DNA markers (also called SNPs or single-nucleotide polymorphisms) and managing them through supplements, dietary changes, and lifestyle adjustments—in other words, “cleaning up dirty genes,” as Lynch puts it.
About Seeking Health
Seeking Health was founded by Dr. Ben Lynch, who after years of research published the book “Dirty Genes” in 2018. Lynch earned his doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in Washington and has helped thousands of clients, doctors, and health professionals worldwide apply epigenetic insights to optimize health. Lynch, currently the most consulted expert in the field of epigenetics, firmly believes that our genetic destiny is not fixed—that with the right nutrition and lifestyle, we can work with our genes and unlock our body’s full genetic potential.
